“Its hard work” – is what I say when someone asks me about Homeschooling……. “But when trials are difficult the reward is sweet.”
Riggen has been filling out scholarships like crazy…. he has been keeping his classes together for his graduation in May from High School (just ordered an amazing diploma!) and received all the “its a go” graduation information from CTC for his associates (sniff sniff)….
Being a homeschooler has given him such an amazing education even though it came with things he had to give up…. like Prom (ok thats a mom thing) and seeing friends every day (trust me he makes up for it). Now as he heads off to college he has tackled the art of finding scholarships — So far so good though and I know he sure appreciates everyones help that has reached out…. Homeschool isn’t really that normal even if it has grown exponentially in the last few years – so scholarships aren’t knocking on his door….. but I know he sure does enjoy being a light on the road less traveled to give hope to others that might need something a little different to be able to succeed…..
and if we had to do it all over again…..
We would’ve started sooner.
Tears and love!!!!!
You have done a fantastic job navigating this road less traveled. Part of me wants this to be easygoing, but I know deep down, I really just want to be doing the right thing, at the right time, being led by the Holy Spirit the whole time.
I pray for continued peace and favor over Riggen, and your family as ya’ll complete this leg of the race.
I have full confidence that you will finish well.
